DH’s family seem to have fallen into a tradition of having 3 letter names as middle names and we’re struggling to think of many that aren’t quite radical - a lot of the online suggestion lists are very American/on trend! Any girls or boys ideas appreciated!

Already in the family we have:
Eve, Jim, Rex, Tom, Lal, Sky, Jem, Ian, Ben, Flo, Dan.

Ivo, Ada, Joy and Amy are all nice - I think you want it to be a proper name if possible (and not the overdone May)

Asa
Guy
Ira
Max
Eli (it’s a full name in its own right)
Ian
Leo

Ida (it’s much less overused than Ada)
Zoe
Ivy
Noa
Una
Liv (it’s a full name in its own right)
Eve / Ava / Eva (v overused but not so much as middle names)

Ann
Kay
Mia
Mya
Bea
Tia
Jay
Ray
Bob
Rob
Tom
Joe
Kye
Jon
Jedburgh
Ted

@Luredbyapomegranate Yes, you’re right, I feel it should be a proper name in its own right, that way they can use it if they dislike their first name - I use the shortened version of my name that’s a name in its own right because I don’t like the full version!

I read your list before I fell asleep and dreamt of a strong willed girl called Liv… could be a sign!
