ds1's name is Lucas. ds2 on the way and I can't think of a good boy's/ baby name. Any ideas? Many thanks.

Why does it have to 'go' with it?
I don't understand.

I used to know someone called Lucas, and one of his brothers is called Elliot.

embarrassedbutcurious · 17/02/2008 01:51

I know a Lucas and his little brother is called Maximas (I know, wrong spelling but he parents love the name). So the boys are generally known as Lucky (!!!) and Max.

I just meant two names that might sound ok together. Not too similar or weird sounding. Will think about Elliot, not sure dh will like it. Thanks for all the suggestions so far! Keep them coming!

I think names sort of have to go together, Moondog.

So if you had a George and Henry then Wayne wouldnt really go, would it? Freddie or Archie would go better. Matilda would suit the type of names whereas Chelsea wouldn't.

I know a family with an Alexander and Olivia and then they had a Lara which just seemed out of place.

My DH is Luca which is lovely (as is Lucas). Max would go well. Finn or Theo.

I like George a lot. Problem is that one of ds1's favorite book characters is a little mouse named George. The other day he didn't want to try a Chinese mushroom (he said "that's George"). A few other names I like (Alex and Peter especially) are out for family reasons.
