Elaine? Then you could have Penny & Laine as nicknames 😄

But seriously I'm not keen on your choices to go with Penelope. Hallie sounds like a nickname, especially next to such a beautiful and substantial name as Penelope. Lily adds too many Ls to the whole situation and it's pretty common. Eloise is just boring to my ears.

I would expect something like Penelope &
Meredith
Jemima
Athena
Camilla
Josephine
Helena
Olive
Clementine
Astrid

?

Mabel or Matilda

Mamabear345 · 16/04/2023 20:05

@shakeitoffsis love these but they are both the names of my two friends children 🤣

every good name I think of I seem to know someone with it.

Martha?

Tabitha
Helena
Eloise
Louisa

I don't like any of your options, but I love Penelope

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 16/04/2023 21:59

If You're looking for them to have them same style or names. Halle and Penelope are worlds apart.
Eloise. Is quite pretty and has a similar vibe. However they both have the potential for the nn Elle or Ellie.
Lily is best with Penelope.

Other suggestions. Penelope and
Florence.
Madeleine.
Meredith.
Scarlett.
Charlotte
Beatrice.
Claudia.
Jessica.
Miriam.
Miranda.
Cynthia.
Alexandra.
Georgina
Rosanna.
Victoria.

Sorry...I do like Eloise but not the other options. Clearly not with it today 😂

Mumofgirls2017 · 16/04/2023 22:11

Eloise is my favourite but not sure if it’s a bit ‘Bridgerton’! The others go fine too.

Something one syllable. I'm a Penelope and while I don't like my middle name it does go with it. So e.g. Anne, Jane, Clare.

Florence or Genevieve?

StartleburpFearsneer · 23/04/2023 13:38

Diane.

FayCarew · 23/04/2023 14:10

hallie - I don't like it and if I was a Hallie with a sister called Penelope I'd feel cheated
lily - nice but overused
eloise - nice but a mouthful and some write it as Elouise, which is hideous. It will probably be shortened to Ellie, which is overused

If you like Lily, how about Susannah or Elizabeth?
I'd go for something long like Victoria, Georgina, Felicity or Genevieve.
