-Elle names

Looking for inspiration on -Elle- names. We’re not sure if Elle is a bit unsubstantial on its own but love the nickname.
Come across some unusual ones on here recently such as Arielle which we’ve never heard before so wondered if there are any more we may not have thought of?!
Current forerunner is probably Elodie.

Nb: aware many mumsnetters are not fans of Elle due to popularity but this doesn’t matter to us :)

my friend has a Eloise nn Elle and I think that’s cute!

Friends had exactly the same debate. They went for a longer version and then called their dd Elle anyway.

They now end up correcting people who use the full name as the child has always just been known as Elle.

It's a gorgeous name - just have Elle.

@mamnotmum this is so interesting! We are starting to warm to the idea of Elle on its own, it is a beautiful name. Still love the names Elodie, Arielle also. Will have a good think, thanks for your insight :)
