DS has arrived, we are undecided on two names they give the same nickname but to me have a totally different feel.
I prefer the classic Francis and DP prefers Franklin, we are calling DS Frankie whilst young and assume Frank as he grows
Please help us to decide which name for the BC as we are registering at 10am tomorrow morning

Frank is for a French bulldog . I can't get my head around it for a child . Francis is better

It can't be Franklin, the one and only Franklin I've met was a Chihuahua on the NY Subway, he was cute but no name for a child 😁

Prefer Franklin.
Francis, to me sounds very feminine.

Out of the two then Franklin, I always see Francis as very feminine and wet sounding and really don’t understand the love for it. But if he’s going to be called Frankie or Frank then just go with Frank. It’s much better than Francis or Franklin.

Francis. Franklin is awful (but I hate surnames as first names and it may be old but sounds v much like a surname)

I really love Frankie. I would go with Frank or Francis. Probably just Frank though.

Francis 100% - it’s a great name for any age & personality. Congratulations on the arrival of your little boy!

I would just call him Frank if that's what you foresee him being called as an adult. Out of the two names you've said I would go with Franklin but Francis is still nice just a bit old feeling to me
