Please help me name her...

Birth registration appointment tomorrow. I've initially gone with Mila Eve for the past 4 weeks, but I'm still not 100%. My other alternative is Eve Celine. Sister is Orla. Literally spending all day and night going round jn circles. Please give me honest opinions and preferences on both choices x

She’s beautiful! Weirdly the first thing I thought when I saw her was ‘Mila or Myla’ without even reading your post. I love Mila but couldn’t use it as too similar to our surname.

Or Celine on its own are lovely
I think she looks like a Myla which is slightly different to Mila

I love Eve Celine, or Celine as a first name :)

Maybe if you're really stuck between the two it means neither of them feel right deep down?

She looks like an old soul to me, so I would go with Eve. I'm not keen on Celine. Is there any reason you don't want to name her Eve Mila?

Probably too late, so what did you choose?! She's absolutely beautiful by the way, congratulations! And Eve Celine would be my choice, just because Orla and Mila together are quite similar. But they're both absolutely gorgeous names so you can't have gone wrong!!!

Orla sounds great with Mila, Eve and Celine.
If Mila is not the best for you ...

I think I remember a previous thread when you asked for thoughts on Camilla. Did you go off that? I think it suits her.
Camilla Eve, or Milly Eve?

The number of comments here asking about the pronunciation of Mila would put me off, though if you like it it's a perfectly good name.

Since Eve is in both of your choices perhaps that's your favourite?
Eve Mila or Eve Celine? Or Evie?

I'm suggesting Erin too as it's one of my favourites. I think Orla and Erin sound great together.

Eve, for sure. Or Evangaline (Evie for short).

Go with Mila Eve. It's beautiful and suits her.

I was where you are after giving birth when I doubted the name until the very end, and it is the hormones and everything else that is now messing with your mind. You are probably exhausted and overwhelmed, but don't let this become an obsession or take a hold of you. The name is great!

Also just to mention that opinions here are more likely to just confuse you even more. You also might be very vulnerable to other people's opinions at the moment, so don't let them put you off. I know several baby Milas and no-one has every had pronunciation issues. Everyone knows Mila Kunis. Big hug and your baby is the most gorgeous baby, congrats!

Mila sounds like mealer which is not at all pretty for such a little sweetheart. Also Mila Eve sounds like Mealer reeve. It runs together which changes it. I hope you're enjoying her. She's adorable!

What a gorgeous baby! Congrats, OP. I prefer Eve Celine. But I think Celine is so pretty and chic it’s a bit of a shame not to use it as the first name. There are lots of little Eves around, but a little Celine would stand out of the crowd. Have fun deciding! Ooh, I feel quite envious, she really is lovely. 🥰
