What are your thoughts on Jonathan? Which spelling do you prefer - Jonathan or Johnathan

I like the shortenings Jonty and John but not so keen on Nathan or Jonny / Jonno

@fairycupcakes , they are from the same origin 'God has given'. A Jewish friend says Netanyahu means the same too.

Jonny is so cool.

Jon and jonny are fine. Jonty really isn’t.
