Of these two names, which would you pick?

Sofia is Italian

It's Greek for wisdom.

Neither

They're both overused and dull as a result

Not sure about Ella but both Sofia and Sophia and even Sophie is every second girl I know between age of 0-12. And I'm talking international as we lived abroad and have friends from all around the world. Second will be Amelia/Amelie

Neither. I know too many of them already. Sophia is a nicer spelling.

@Luredbyapomegranate @DuchessOfSausage

What name would you choose then?

@PainAuChocoless , of Ella, Sofia or Sophia, Sophia, but I prefer Emma and Sophie.

PainAuChocoless · 27/01/2023 10:21

@DuchessOfSausage 😂 you said you know too many Ella's/Sophia's but every other girl I know is called Emma or Sophie. There was around 3 Sophie's in my friendship group alone.
I think those names are extremely overused so would never be on my list, it's interesting how different peoples opinions and experiences are.

@PainAuChocoless , The Emmas and Sophies you know are probably about your age. The chances of being one of many Emmas or Sophies in a school year now is less than the chances of being one of many Ellas or Sophia/Sofias.
