Baby is imminent and we still haven't found 'the one'! So any new ideas of favourites of our current shortlist very welcome.

For a girl we like Daphne, Clíodhna, Clodagh
For a boy we like Emmett, Oisín, Gabriel, Raphaël

Our first child has an Irish name but we live in France so need something not absolutely impossible to get their heads round. No plans to live in UK so no problem with the issue of Clíodhna sounding like cleaner (we would probably go for nickname Clio here for ease).

I love Daphne, I don’t know how to say the other two so I can’t comment. I’m not a big fan of the way clodagh looks though.

They are all beautiful names, especially the boys names!

I love daphne that was on my list if I had a girl! Never used to me a fan until I watched bridgerton. Gabriel is nice and I like gabe as the nickname
