I read your title and came on to suggest Marlowe, but you’d beaten me to it! Love it, one of my favourites

I also wanted a non 'girly' name. I'm 6ft and guessing my daughter will be similar. Anything too flowery wouldn't work.

My top three were

Elizabeth - timeless, classic, strong namesakes
Eleanor - as above
Cerys - lovely welsh name that is feminine without floweryness.

Back in the 80s my mum had female friends called Rae and Barrie.
