Jesse for a boy? I love it but finding myself over thinking names this time around so much! Worried people may mistake for a girls name?

Not sure where you are doing your sampling of "people" @FedUpOfInstaMum but, oddly, I heard someone saying his the other day. I'd estimate she was early 30s.
I asked my dc who are in their 20s and all of them had heard the expression and knew what it meant, too.

Why is no-one arsed what over 60s say in your opinion?

Jesse Armstrong who wrote Succession is certainly no weakling.

Jesse sounds like the girls name Jessie, short for Jessica. I don't like it for a boy.

Beautiful name and would probably be my choice if we ever had another boy.

How many boys have you taught with the name? Over how many years? Is it that popular?

I've been teaching nearly 15 years and I've only taught one Jesse, and that was about 10 years ago.

I love it!

1. Been teaching well over 20 years though - it was quite popular a few years ago and we had three in the school at one time (1500 pupils).
