Middle name for Hallie

Expecting DD in feb and have finally agreed on the name Hallie.

I'd like her to have a middle name as DS son, but I know it's not essential.

My mum also passed away a few years ago now, so I'd like to try and tie her name into it if I could somewhere but I'm really struggling so wondered if anyone had any suggestions

My mums name was Caroline
DD initials will be HS (without the middle name at this point obviously)

Any ideas

Do we think Hallie Caroline sounds weird?

@lifeisahamsterwheel it's a beautiful name and I've actually never come across one in real life either which is part of the reason we chose it!

Our sons name is the same - not overly used but easy to province and spell :)

Much depends on your surname. Hallie Caroline Jones for example sounds fine so assume you have a surname that also clashes with Caroline? It’s pretty rare though that anyone reads out their full names so I’d not worry - but if it bothers you then you could always go for 2 middle names so you have one that flows well second, plus Caroline still included too. E.g. Hallie Rose Caroline Dawes or whatever the surname is.

Is Hallie pronounced as Hay Lee or Hal ee?

@Tempyname the surname is a very common 'S' surname and I think it works okay! Like you said she won't be using it in every day life anyway!

@MaydinEssex pronounced Hal-ee
