Girls' versions of boys' names

We'd like to give our soon-to-arrive new baby a middle name after a member of DH's family. But the two family members that we would like to name a baby after are men, called David and Jacob, and new baby is (probably) a girl! I can't think of any half-decent feminine versions of these names.... Davida and Jacoba are just a bit naff!

Anyone got any inspired thoughts? Apart from hoping that baby turns out to be a boy!

Just had a random thought pattern thinking about a Welsh version of David (don't ask me why I'm thinking about Welsh names), Dafyd which led me to Daffy... and onto Daphne.

Jacob is a bit harder to feminise!!

Thanks to you all for...

a) the quick responses
b) the pretty good serious versions (will run them all by DH)
c) the good giggle at the silly ones!

Judy Blume used Davey for a girl in Tiger Eyes, cant remember what it was short for but it was the feminised David
