Violet or Edie

I can't decide which one I prefer, she suits both! Help...

I read Edie as Eddy. Is it pronounced EEedee or some other way?

My thoughts too.

I think of Edit, Edinburgh etc, all pronounced Ed and not Eed?!

Edie's ok but there are so many Evies. Don't like Edith much, and Eden is a bit too modern. Ede is awful.

I have a Violet so normally I’d vote that however I love it as a middle name too and Edie Violet is lovely 💕

Edie, I love it. I think it’s cool. I really don’t like Violet, it’s so prim and proper. Also I don’t like Vi as a shortening.
