Girls: 1-2 syllables, spunky sounding
Cleo
Wren
Daisy (DH on fence about this one)
Juno

Boys: classic, nothing modern
James
Alexander
Edward (DH hates but I love!)
Noah

Girls

From your list, I really like Wren and Juno.

Others which, to me, sound sparky:

Scout (her strong character traits in 'To Kill A Mockingbird')

Gaia (Earth Goddess...enough said!)

Petra (rock, stone, strength)

Rowan (Rowan tree: rooted/grounded?)

Boys

I like Alexander from yours.

Or maybe:

Jonathan?
Luke?

I know quite a few cats named Cleo so I couldn't. Juno seems odd for an adult (when they grow up) and makes me think of the teen pregnancy film.

Wren and Daisy are lovely- like the boys names - but I prefer traditional ones (which seems to be disappearing!). Edmund might be a nice variant of Edward if your partner doesn't like it

Daisy sounds like Pansy to me, or Poppy: not names I'd associate with resilience

I love your girls names, op, especially Cleo and Juno!

Your boys names are overused and boring imo. How about Reuben, Quentin, Marcus or Vincent - all underused classics.
