You see I know a little Seth - just the one so not too common I think - and it works really well. He is gorgeous!

pootleflump · 28/01/2008 11:11

I love Scott - a real solid boys name - don't see how it could be disliked.

There are too many Max's around, or as they call them where I live 'Maximus' .

Nathan is ok.

Scott appeals because I've never met one

Barrack Obama?

pootleflump · 28/01/2008 11:25

Exactly Connor, I went to school with a couple but haven't met any since, it's uncommon without being a fancy/twatty/revived ugly name.

pootleflump · 28/01/2008 11:30

I'd better admit my bias - it's the name I gave to my ds and I am scottish, but it's a name that if you like it you'll never go off it (always been my fave since primary school).

ConnorTraceptive · 28/01/2008 11:36

Atleast I'm unlikey to encounter another barrack Obama!!

OP posts:
ConnorTraceptive · 28/01/2008 11:37

Dh wants to see if we can pull off a real American name like Cash or Chase or Hank

There's a lot of ginger in my family so I doubt it.

scorpio1 · 28/01/2008 11:38

Connor - what about Wilf or Chadwick??

ConnorTraceptive · 28/01/2008 11:41

Chadwick?? sounds like a retirement village

dee24 · 28/01/2008 11:43

devonsmummy · 28/01/2008 11:49
