Imogen, Hallie or Naomi?

Middle name would be Alice.

Do you think Hallie Alice feels like it runs into 1 too much?

I'm not sure if Naomi is too dated, or if Imogen is too popular?

Hallie is lovely. It doesn't make any difference if it runs in to the middle name a little as it's unusual for anyone other than new parents to say someone's name in full.

I lie the other names too but Hallie is really nice

I don't think Naomi is dated at all, I think it's a lovely name and seems quite timeless. Naomi Alice is probably my favourite.

I like the rhythm of Hallie Alice, I don't think it's a problem at all.

Imogen is a nice name but I think it flows the least with Alice.

But they're all nice!

DuchessOfSausage · 12/10/2022 09:15

I don't like Hallie because it seems like a diminutive of something else. Hallie Alice doesn't sound great - it sounds like Ali Alice. Harriet Alice is nice.

Imogen is ok but I'm not keen on Immy.

Naomi is ok but people will say it differently.

Luredbyapomegranate · 12/10/2022 09:19

Naomi by a mile - it’s staring to come back I think but only just. It’s elegant and strong.

Imogen is fine but a bit twee to me and yes quite popular

Hallie is too nicknamey, twee and faddy and is as popular as Imogen I’d think. It’s a short for Harriet originally so Harriet nn Hallie if you must.

drinkallthecoffee · 12/10/2022 09:20

Definitely Imogen Alice, it's lovely.

Hallie Alice does have too many similar sounds imo.

DotDotDotDotDot · 12/10/2022 10:09

I love both Imogen and Naomi. I’d say they are both quite classic names. I’m not sure where they stand this year in the ONS stats but personally I haven’t met any babies called either of these is recent years (I have a 3YO).
Sorry but I really dislike Hallie, feels like more of a trendy name to me. Also I just think of halitosis when I hear it.

IStandWithMaya · 12/10/2022 10:17

Imogen, but imo it doesn't run well into Alice

dahlianoir · 12/10/2022 10:26

Naomi is my favourite by far. Great name

oviraptor21 · 12/10/2022 10:31

Hallie with Alice is just too much ali.

Imogen and Naomi both much better.

ChocolateSpreadOnToast · 12/10/2022 11:19

Love Hallie. I like Naomi too.

Imogen is just too popular, feels over done now.

Puddlepup · 12/10/2022 12:01

Imogen Alice is lovely

Billylilly · 12/10/2022 12:50

Imogen. It’s a beautiful name. Even if it’s popular I still think it’s great because it doesn’t feel like a name of the moment.

I also like Hallie but I don’t think I could actually use it. It feels American/a little try hard and always sounds and reads like a NN. Just my opinion.

I agree with everything in this post so I’m just going to quote it instead of basically typing it all out again!

Imogen or Naomi

WildCherryBlossom · 12/10/2022 14:57

I love both Imogen and Naomi. I think Naomi Alice flows slightly better so that would get my vote. (Hallie is ok but not really my cup of tea and sounds a bit silly with Alice.)

finallychangedmyusername · 12/10/2022 20:53

Imogen, Naomi and Alice are three of my favourite girl names! Naomi Alice or Imogen Alice are fabulous.

YourWinter · 12/10/2022 20:55

Ally-ally-oops…

NOT Hallie Alice! I love Imogen, don’t like Naomi.

Snoopsnoggysnog · 12/10/2022 21:00

I like Hallie but I agree it sounds like a nickname. Harriet Alice is fabulous. NN Hallie

I also like Imogen, I think it goes fine with Alice. I don’t like Naomi.

bewarethetides · 12/10/2022 21:11

Hadley Alice might work a bit better than Hallie Alice sound-wise.

Not keen on Naomi and Imogen is very popular around here, loads of them.

Snoopsnoggysnog · 12/10/2022 21:11

Come on you can’t call a baby girl Hadley!

Of course you can. There are lots of little Hadley's out there.

beonmywaythen · 13/10/2022 14:52

Imogen!!! Love that name

Run4it2 · 13/10/2022 14:56

Hallie is short for Harriet - I'd call them Harriet and then use Hallie as the nickname - I think it's lovely!

Mittens1717 · 13/10/2022 17:57

Imogen is gorgeous I'd go with that, nothing wrong with Hallie or Naomi either though

GlassDeli · 13/10/2022 18:20

Naomi, definitely. Imogen is overrated and Hallie Alice is too much Ali.
