Girl names all ending in Y

Is it odd to have two girls both with y ending names? For example Lucy and Molly.

We're due our second and I'm leaning towards needing a non y name like Mia/Ella. However most names I like are either y or ie.

Molly, Rosie, Ellie and so on.

No it's fine. I have a daughter with a -y name and this didn't cross my mind when considering names for DC2. As long as it's not something rhyming like Molly and Polly I'd say you're absolutely fine.

Thanks ladies, that's really helpful.

I like both Molly and Polly, middles names perhaps 🤣. Don't worry I wouldn't do that to the poor child.

I have 3 girls (one is a Step-daughter) and all their names end in A. Same principle, I really like it although it wasn't actually planned!

Ah I literally posted the same thing yesterday about name endings and the replies I got said yes it's fine!

Glad it wasn't just me wondering 😊

It's fine assuming the rest of the names aren't similar. Molly and Polly, or Elsie and Ellie are too much. Daphne and Felicity, or Nancy and Anjuli don't register as similar at all.
