Surname is pretty standard, 2 syllables ends in -er (like Turner)

I like Poppy, I don't like the others (Sorry)

In order:
Poppy - love
Cara - really nice
Lily - I like this but it's probably the most popular
Kiera / Elsa - not my cup of tea

Love Poppy, others I’m not too keen

Poppy -I've known two strippers with this name. And a fair few dogs/hamsters. I do like it though.
Elsa-Let it Goooooooo.. a bit drab/twee
Kiera-I don't like 'K' names as a rule but It's not so nice generally, a lot of much nicer names out there.
Lily-Lovely but a bit wet
Cara-Love

I like poppy and Iily, flower names are always classic.

not Elsa, too Disney.

cara is nice and more unusual

kiera, nah. It’s a bit common, I know loads from 27 to 10 in age. Not all the same spelling.

Lily would probably work best with an 'er' surname. Poppy is also nice.

Just Poppy.

Kiera or Cara

I hate the spelling of Kiera, it is just misspelt. I like Cara. The others are ok, but very popular, so that would put me off a bit.

2. Cara
3. Lily
4. Poppy (pretty but where I live it's a nickname for Grandfathers)
5. Elsa (pretty but I just think of Frozen).

Poppy- bit overdone and wet
Elsa- like, but v assoc w frozen
Kiera- dated
Lily- bit bland
Cara- ok

Poppy - it’s ok, but doesn’t sing to me
Elsa - no. It’s a nice enough name but Frozen has turned it into naff
Kiera - not my cup of tea. Although I prefer Ciara in terms of how it looks written
Lily - so overused. It’s fine but dull at the moment
Cara - best of the bunch. I like it.

But what I think is completely it relevant! If you love Elsa then have an Elsa. Sod mumsnet opinions 😊

Poppy - nice but I know a few dogs with the name
Elsa - nice but I'd let it go
Kiera - weird spelling. Ciara/Keira/Kira
Lily - nice but overused, dislike Lil
Cara - ok

Careful with names that end in an “a” and surnamed that end “er” bit awkward

Cara Turner would be an awful name for a girl, like Theresa green etc joke wears thin quickly

Poppy - Poppy is so overused at the moment 3 at my daughter Nursery

Elsa - no

Kiera - weird spelling but ok

Lily - nice

Cara - no

I like Cara. The others are very common if that makes a difference to you. Some people don't like names that are extremely popular.

Cara although prefer Carla and Clara.

Poppy - way too many poppys about, it’s getting more and more popular
Elsa - frozen! It was on my list, 6mths before frozen came out, after the lion, I’m so glad we didn’t use it.
Kiera - not bad, not good
Lily - again lots of Lilly’s out there at the moment
Cara - I know a few older high school girls and I wouldn’t want my daughter hanging out with them

I like Kiera.
Personally don’t like many flower names so Poppy / Lilly is a no for me.
Cara is very 90s for me. What about Cora ?(love this name, kinda similar but more modern)
Elsa is nice but same as others just think of Frozen.

So my vote is Kiera 😊

I have to say Cora reminds me of an apple core! My favourites are Poppy and Elsa, DH loves Kiera.

Kiera - nice, though prefer the original Ciara, better choice than Elsa if you don’t want a very popular name

Cara - OK, bit meh, prefer Clara

Poppy - wet and babyish
Lily - ditto

I like Cara
I used to like Elsa but the Frozen connection has slightly tainted it for me; not sure why.
