Laurence or Benjamin?

Benjamin Eden / Rory / Skye / something else?
(Feel it is unwise to choose Jasper due to "BJ")

Our surname begins with C and is 2 syllables. Prefer a traditional first name with a contrasting middle. No objection to gender neutral or feminine sounding names.

For various reasons have ruled out Nate, Jude, Robin, Kit, Finn and Leo as middles (but we like these)

What are your thoughts? Benjamin vs Laurence and on middle names for either (most especially for Benjamin?)

Laurence Silas sounds like a serial killer.

Benjamin then he can go by Ben if he wants to

Benjamin is just such a dull name IMO. Much prefer Lawrence

Benjamin is very nice but the world is full of Bens

Eden and Skye are really girls names (and the latter v popular) so don’t do that.

I like the nicknames for Benjamin better, Benny or Benji. Laurence is lovely but I’m not keen on Laurie.
