Also there’s another sibling so I wouldn’t just be saying these 2 names if that makes sense

Yes I think so.

JuneOsborne · 02/09/2022 07:00

Yeah, probably. It's the combination of the same first letter and the same ending sound.

KangarooKenny · 02/09/2022 07:46

I don’t think so.

Copernico · 02/09/2022 07:54

Yes, too similar.

bloominglovelyorange · 02/09/2022 08:09

I do not think too similar
nice names

Hellocatshome · 02/09/2022 08:13

Sounds fine as long as the 3rd name doesn't also start with H

BackOnTheBandWagon · 02/09/2022 08:33

Is Hattie the full name or a nickname? I think they are too similar, unless Hattie is Harriet or something

Jemmajemma · 02/09/2022 10:24

No nicknames, i mean as full names
and others child is not beginning with H

georgarina · 02/09/2022 10:42

Yes, I think they're too similar - basically the only difference is the 'a' vs 'ei'

RuthW · 02/09/2022 12:12

No they are fine.

michikonymph · 02/09/2022 12:26

No think they are fine 😊

Emily29 · 02/09/2022 12:32

Both nice names, I think they sound good together

perimenofertility · 02/09/2022 13:02

I think it's fine, they sound cute together.

Mintyt · 03/09/2022 08:02

I think they are lovely together

Jemmajemma · 03/09/2022 08:08

Thanks all

I think it’s too similar, especially twins, it’s nice to have your own identity

MassiveSalad22 · 03/09/2022 08:23

Hmm I think so. My name is one and we considered the other for DD but thought too samey, and I think it would be even more so for siblings.

20viona · 03/09/2022 08:25

No they are fine

JumpNWave · 03/09/2022 08:26

Way too similar

Jemmajemma · 03/09/2022 08:30

@dmask its not for twins

OP posts:
Skinterior · 03/09/2022 08:43

Think it's fine - having the same initial might be a bit of a faff with post when they're bigger (if post still exists then).

J0y · 03/09/2022 08:45

Love heidi.
Hattie is awful in my irish accent. But not good in an English accent either 'as ee.

No. Just dont

NerdyBird · 03/09/2022 08:55

Too similar I think. Are they next to each other in age?

Luredbyapomegranate · 03/09/2022 10:41

Yes, it’s too twee and twinny for sisters, it does sound a bit as if you are treating them as dolls (I am not suggesting you are)
