Maeve or Phoebe with surname Paige?

Not Maeve with that surname. Phoebe is alright.

Amdone123 · 21/08/2022 09:37

Sorry, I don't think they do. Maeve because it's 1 syllable and Phoebe because of the alliteration.
What other names do you like ?

Amdone123 · 21/08/2022 09:38

Martha Paige is lovely.

BanjoVio · 21/08/2022 09:43

Maeve Paige almost rhymes so no, sorry.
Phoebe Paige sounds lovely (and isn’t alliterative because it’s not the same sound, so that wouldn’t bother me).

SnottyLottie · 21/08/2022 10:20

Phoebe Paige sounds like you’re a big Charmed fan (in my head at least 😆)

dizzydizzydizzy · 21/08/2022 10:40

Phoebe Paige is best.

KurtCobainsColourfulCarpet · 21/08/2022 10:42

Turner?

Amdone123 · 21/08/2022 09:38

Martha Paige is lovely.

This is also nice.

CalamityClam · 21/08/2022 10:45

Phoebe Paige I’d not alliterative, @Amdone123 - they don’t begin with the same sound, just the same letter.

@Wet Phoebe Paige is fine. Marvel Paige is not due to the almost rhyme. Are you having a middle name?

Amdone123 · 21/08/2022 11:03

@CalamityClam , ah, yes, understood. I meant same initial. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Although the more I say Phoebe Paige, the more it's growing!

ButterRose · 21/08/2022 12:10

I like Phoebe Paige

Who makes these rules?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Luredbyapomegranate · 21/08/2022 14:15

Oh definitely Maeve Paige 🙄 you are kidding, right?

Amdone123 · 21/08/2022 14:21

@Ameanstreakamilewide , who said they were rules ?
The op asked, I gave my opinion. Op can have whatever he or she wants.

CaptainCreepsBourgeMobile · 21/08/2022 14:24

What about Prudence Paige? Or Piper Paige?

AliBaliBears · 21/08/2022 14:26

No to Maeve Paige because it almost rhymes so sounds a bit odd. Phoebe Paige is fine though.

Eliode2000 · 21/08/2022 14:27

Phoebe goes

Montgomerymmoose · 21/08/2022 14:28

Next Paige ? Last Paige ?

mistygem · 21/08/2022 18:27

Montgomerymmoose · 21/08/2022 14:28

Next Paige ? Last Paige ?

I don't know if you're British, but Paige is common surname and OP said its surname for them. Unless you're saying they should ditch surname, no need for such comments.

Phoebe Paige has ring to it and doesn't sound half bad. But in linguistic, it's generally accepted people might mistake b and p due to sound similarity. I can imagine girl becoming fepage or something. It's not a big dealbreaker, but if you don't have problems with pronouncing vocals, go for it.

Bobbinsandribbons · 21/08/2022 18:33

No to Maeve, Phoebe Paige is fab
