Middle name for Isla

Hi, I’m looking for a middle name for Isla. Preferably one or three syllables, our last name is two syllables.

I’m so picky and have really struggled to like any names I’ve seen so far but have the following -

Isla Rae
Isla Neve/Niamh

Not keen on flowers or really ‘old style’ names. I like Ruby but it just doesn’t flow with Isla 😔

Any suggestions welcome!

Isla Ruby is fine.

I know an Isla Jade.

Isla Rae makes me think of Île de Ré, which isn't a bad thing (it's beautiful there) but also sort of weird.

Personally I'd stick to a 3-syllable name. Isla is quite short in itself and most one-syllable names sound completely boring/interchangeable/place-holder-like these days, it seems like every girl has one. A 3-syllable middle has much more gravitas imo. I also prefer names that don't start with a vowel after ones that end in one, and like middle names to not have the same ending sound. (I appreciate most people don't care this much, let alone about middles.)

A pp suggested Isla Genevieve, which I think is beautiful. I also like:

We had same issue with middle name for our Isla , also went with Niamh and still love it.

Anyway thanks for all the suggestions. I keep changing my mind. Now I’m thinking Isla Winter, as she’ll be born in winter. What are peoples thoughts on that?

@KayEmAy I think your list is closest to my taste. I love Wren and Paige. Also love Quinn but can’t use it, and Sawyer but it just makes me think of Sawyer from Lost so wouldn’t use that either. But your list is beautiful!
