Might be cute for a baby but one day that child will be an adult.

I always think 'how would the name sound if the person was interviewing for a job?' "This is Dixie Watson." Mmmmm. What is cute on a child may not work so well on an adult.

I used to have a pet mouse called Dixie, named after Dixie Lee. I had no idea the Dixie Chicks changed their name, how silly!

Just imagine a teacher calling out your child’s name in a class. The kids will snigger and giggle as they will hear the words Dicks. She will get called Dicksie.

My daughter's middle name Dixie. She is 12 and for a long time didn't like it - but now there is a famous Tik Tokker called Dixie so she loves it!
Sometimes I regret not going with Dixie as her first name, but it sounded a bit porn star, so....
