For our DS.
I did love Vincent but pregnancy hormones are playing tricks on me

Spencer

I'm still on the fence as to whether this is a joke thread or not, but if you seriously want opinions then I quite like Frank. Spencer just reminds me of the Made in Chelsea character.
Calling a child Frank Spencer would be hilarious though, but cruel 😆

Ethelfromnumber73 · 29/05/2022 21:52

Many people on this thread are clearly under the age of 40 😁

SabrePrattler · 29/05/2022 22:17

I like Spencer.

Frank is okay too.

Mumofgirls2017 · 30/05/2022 07:24

Both nice but prefer spencer

LorenzoVonMatterhorn · 30/05/2022 07:29

Francis - then frank or frankie is ok.
vincent - so vinnie which I prefer to vince.
spencer - dislike.

ANUsernam · 30/05/2022 07:43

Spencer

Frank is Frank Butcher/a dog to me.
Vincent is a greasy gangster.

heartchakra · 30/05/2022 07:49

Frank every time. Our son is Frank. It's cute charismatic and very memorable.

MinglingFlamingo · 30/05/2022 10:30

Spencer is the best of a bad bunch

muddyford · 30/05/2022 13:22

Ever watched Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em?

SirChenjins · 30/05/2022 13:28

Frank is a horrible sounding name - it's up there with Derek and Cyril. Really harsh sounding.

Vince/Vinnie/Vincent - East End crook.

Spencer is the best of a bad bunch.

I absolutely love Frank. I am biased as I have a toddler Frank! He completely suits his name, he is cheeky. I was nervous using the name at first, knowing some people dislike it. But now I couldn't care less and love the name. It's strong and traditional and I love having a Frank.

This ☝️ our son is Frank the best name

ArmWrestlingWithChasNDave · 30/05/2022 13:31

How about Michael or Crawford?

GlitteryGreen · 30/05/2022 13:56

I love the name Frank!! It would have been in my final few choices if my DP had liked it too.

dawnn · 30/05/2022 21:28

Spencer is the nice one.

MissMatty2hats · 30/05/2022 21:37

Frank is a fantastic name. I have a 27 year old one who was christened Francis, got called Frankie for the first twenty years and grew into Frank as he became a man. Spencer seems a bit wet in comparison.

Chewbecca · 30/05/2022 22:02

I know a teenage Frank who is smart and a good kid. Also fond of Frank Skinner (though that’s not his real name). Also a teenager Vincent who is equally nice and cool so in my book, both decent names.

Spencer isn’t a nice chap IME.

SmellsLikeMiddleAgeSpirit · 31/05/2022 13:24

OP isn't considering calling her child "Frank Spencer" - for those of you who seem to be confused by this, or thinking it has to be a joke - but either "Frank" or "Spencer".

I like Frank. It was my grandad's name.

Trinacham · 31/05/2022 13:43

Spencer

Strokethefurrywall · 31/05/2022 14:01

I prefer Spencer over Frank but that's because Spencer is my brothers name (and DS1s middle name), and Frank is the name of my dog.

pinklavenders · 31/05/2022 14:34

I like Vincent

I really don't like Frank or Spencer

YetAnotherSpartacus · 31/05/2022 14:35

BETTY!!!
