A sister for Flora

We are really struggling and feel as though we have considered every name in every book!

Our current favourites are Hazel, Celeste and Ottilie which we obviously like but not sure if we love!

The top contender we had (Mabel) has been used by close friends so has taken this off the table.

We would also prefer the name to not be in the top 100 but doesn’t sound made up or unrecognisable.

Suggestions of names we might not have considered yet would be greatfully appreciated!

Flora is all the plants together so how do you feel one plant / nature name for the sister?
If you name the baby Fleur isn't that the same name twice?

Thanks everyone, lots to consider! I probably should have mentioned we weren’t keen on another “flower” name despite there being so many lovely ones. As someone mentioned above with Flora being all the flowers I would worry it seems a bit obvious or inferior?!

We do however like nature names and there’s been a few different ones suggested so thanks :)

April is the first name that came to mind, though I'm not sure where in the charts it is. It doesn't seem overly popular though.

The Flora I know has a sister called Maisie, which has a similar-ish sound to your Mabel.

Definitely not a flower name. But something generic encompassing another natural form might, to match with Flora, or a goddess name, or virtue name.

I adore Celeste. Met an adult one recently and couldn’t stop thinking about the name after. So elegant.
Goes beautifully with Flora too. 🙂
Does bring Babar to mind though. Not that that’s a bad thing!
