OK we've made a list of names we both like. Can you tell me your favourite 2 and least favourite 2 please...sorry its a long list. All sound fine with our surname too...

The rest are all ok.

Faves: Lara and Verity (although it was hard to pick as Cecilia, Isobel, Cara, Rosalie, Anya, Alice, Imogen are all very nice)

Worst: Libby and Annie (I don't like diminutives as given names, although I love Elizabeth and Anna, Anne or Antonia)

I run a business where I personalise baby things so I can’t help but view your list through the eyes of that 🙈 It definitely sways my judgement!

Mabel - these ‘old’ names making a comeback is such a huge trend just now. I think it’s cute!
Thea - not keen
Imogen - unusual, love it
Cecilia - could take or leave it
Eliza - not keen
matilda - yip, cute
Alice - nice name
Charlotte - such a classic but still as nice as it’s always been
Emily - think it’s had its day
Verity - posh sounding, not keen
Freya - very popular just now but nice
Cara - yeah cute
Clara - same
Flora - not keen
Rosalie - not keen
Faye - one that’s overlooked usually but nice
Libby - yes I like this one!
Anya - not keen
Naomi - not keen
Isobel - not keen
Annie - not keen
Felicity - not keen
Lara - very simple and understated but lovely

my two favourites would be: Lara and possibly Libby or Matilda
least favourites would be: Verity and Eliza

Worst Rosalie (Biased, my ex's name and she was horrible)!
Freya-I just think it sounds like a household product.

Favourites : Faye and Anya. I also liked Freya but it's really too popular.

Most disliked : Imogen and Mabel

Imogen is beautiful and Naomi is pretty and a bit different.

Not keen on Charlotte or Emily. Perfectly nice names, just think they're both really dull and overused.

Also like Lara, but hate Clara

Omg practically my dream list. Favourite favourites are Naomi & Lara, but Libby, Imogen & Mabel are also up there.

Not too keen on Annie (tho it's still lovely, but just makes me think of orphans) and really not keen on Flora (spreads easily)

Least favourite: Mabel and Flora but if your child's famous they might start a trend!

I love Charlotte, Alice, and Eliza. Not so keen on Matilda

In that case, Alice - it's the most timeless, so least likely to date if that matters, followed by Charlotte (if you want more nn choice than for Alice).

While Matilda and Eliza are nice enough, they tend to go more in and out of fashion so may date your DD more.

Another Alice (but only because I’m not fond of the other three you’ve shortlisted, sorry)

Alice wins from your shortlist, imo.

Matilda is also nice.
