Xanthe - Ianthe better as a full name as more grown up, but it’s a bit fussy and Lispy
Francesca - elegant, but getting popular
Imogen - ok, Popular, slightly twee
Saskia - nice, and stands out more
Alexandra - nice but it will get shortened
Claudia - great, elegant but less popular than Francesca

Never had any issues with Xanthe it’s a lovely name

saskia makes me think of Essex girl loud mouths with giant eyebrows

Xanthe - ok, seems an X name for the sake of it. Not keen on 'th' sound.
Francesca - ok, a bit frilly. I don't like Frankie or Chessie
Imogen - ok, I don't like Immy etc

Alexandra - i know loads and lots of male Alexs.
Claudia - only know 1 and she's a 'cloud-ya'

My pick would be Saskia.

In order of preference. I would shorten Alexandra to Sacha. I wouldn't use Xanthe at all, too much confusion over the pronunciation.

emanwemyn WHY do you care? We just love the names Imogen and Francesca, they're classic, beautiful and have great significances.

I don't particularly care what your daughters are called as it wasn't you who asked, but I like Imogen in full. Francesca is nice enough - a friend has one but she's usually 'Chess'.
