Which middle names go with Pari and which ones go with Parisa?

Maybe this will help us decide!

I think similar middle names go with both:

Saint-German
Gare du Nord
Sacre Coeur

Or if you prefer, you could use one of them as a middle name, e.g.

Disneyland Pari

@donquixotedelamancha I think you’re misunderstanding the context behind the name. Pari and Parisa are Persian names, they are not related to Paris, or the french language.

@Feckingfeck Ah that’s interesting! I’ve only ever seen it being used as a feminine Persian or Indian first name.

No, I knew that. I was just being a dick :-) It will bump your thread though.

I think then perhaps a Persian middle name?

I only know some Arabic names but we don't usually have middle names.

Pari Marrianne

Pari Dahlia

I think for Parisa it sounds better with a 1 syllable middle name...

No suggestions though 😂

Ghazal - a Persian form of love poem sounds to me as though it may sound nice as a middle name.
I can suggest others but it would help if you would say if these names are for girls or boys.
Is the choice of name to reflect your Persian heritage or is there something else you want to reflect?

If you're going to be living in the UK I'd pick a british middle name to go with the Persian first name ?

Elspethelf · 04/05/2022 19:21

Are you looking for Persian suggestions? My husband is Arabic/Hispanic and I’m Australian, our list has first names from his cultures paired with middle names from mine and vice versa. I’m really loving the mixing of names

Parisa Maryam
Parisa Yasmin
Parisa Baran
Parisa Iman
Parisa Roshan
Parisa Zarin
Parisa Mahin

(All Persian)

I think it needs to end in a consonant rather than a -a or -y sound

Gloschick · 04/05/2022 19:41

Not sure about middle names (perhaps best to go for a family name?) but I think Parisa would work better than Pari if you live in the UK. You also then have the option to call her Pari for short.

SmiledWtherisingsun · 04/05/2022 19:47

Parisa Soraya
Parisa Ava
Parisa Cyra
Parisa Yasmin
Parisa Afra
Parisa Leila
Parisa Tara

Pari is a lovely name. Means 'fairy' in Hindi---does it also mean that in Persian?

helpmedecide22 · 05/05/2022 10:35

@GrumpyTerrier Yes it does! Do you like the short version more?
