I think Claire is lovely and goes with Everley.

Don't think the middle name really matters, so you could go with Claire Munroe if you wanted.

TrashyPanda · 18/04/2022 23:37

Monroe is not an attractive name for a girl.

sweetbellyhigh · 18/04/2022 23:41

@Kitkat151

I don’t like either…both too chavvy for me
So rude
Jossbow · 19/04/2022 14:38

Everly Rose is pretty

Munroe not so much , and I think as a sib set, Munroe takes somethig away from the prettiness of Everly

First dau has an unusual name, aiming for an even more unusual for second!

comealongponds · 19/04/2022 18:06

Everly is really pretty but I really don’t like Monroe, it feels very harsh and doesn’t look or sound very nice.

Titsflyingsouth · 19/04/2022 19:26

Agree with a previous poster who suggested Juno. Everly Rose and Juno Claire works well as a combo...

DeedlessIndeed · 19/04/2022 19:30

I think Claire is lovely and classic and not too overly sweetened IYSWIM?

Monroe... I can't put my finger on why I'm not so keen. To my mind it is more masculine than feminine, but also I'm getting fish roe vibes... Sorry OP, I'd go for something else.

NurseBernard · 19/04/2022 19:36

Are you American, OP? Just wondered because of the ‘Hi Moms!’.

And also I have an American ex-colleague on my FB who’s given her two daughters surnames as first names.

It was fashionable for boys, but has now long since shifted to girls over there (starting with Taylor a generation ago).

Monroe is not great. It’s just a bit too obvious.

If surnames are your thing, I think there are better options out there.

Candleabra · 19/04/2022 19:36

I like Everly and Monroe. I think they go together well.
I also like Everly and Marlow.

doyouwantachuffedybadge · 19/04/2022 19:41

Great names - I picture two very strong women who'll do great things.

user3199 · 24/04/2022 19:05

I'd assume you were American from these first names? Munro for a boy maybe, but Monroe just doesn't seem like a name to me. But maybe it's better known as a name in the US.

MadameJosephine · 24/04/2022 19:13

I like it OP, much better than Claire Monroe. Claire is dated and doesn’t go with Everly at all.

As for Margot, I’ll never understand the MN love for this name, it’s awful

Ugh. I agree. It's become such a MN cliché.

A poster might say 'I like names like Zephyr and Phoenix' and someone will suggest bloody Margot Grin

OP, I like Everly but am not crazy about Monroe. It's a bit clunky. PP suggestions of Juno and Marlowe are good.

Other names that I think have a similar vibe are

Eden
Sloan
Hadley
Piper

Nelliephant1 · 24/04/2022 20:16

Oh dear 🥴

mathanxiety · 24/04/2022 20:19

I think they go beautifully together.

There's a very cool late 50s/early 60s vibe to them - the Everly Brothers and Marilyn Monroe spring to mind.

Very nice. I say go for it.
