Current top runners for baby number 3. Which would be your picks and why? Thanks!

Saskia is lovely
Also like Matilda, and love the nickname Tilly
Eva is also nice, but more widely used

Love Sebastian (I have one!)
Freddie is nice. I had Fredrick on my list
Rafferty is ok

I really dislike Sebby and Raffy, sorry. Why Freddie is fine though, I am not sure. Sebastian is lovely and was on my list. Seb is fine. Otherwise, lovely names.

All the others are nice names.

ImInStealthMode · 02/04/2022 10:18

Matilda and Sebastian, but NN Seb.

Elysant · 02/04/2022 11:07

I'm fan of Saskia, Matilda, Rafferty, but would pick Alfred or Frederick over Freddie.

bluechameleon · 02/04/2022 11:17

Matilda and Sebastian. Although I also love the suggestion of Raphael/Rafael nn Raffy. I prefer it with the 'ph' and think you could still use the 'ff' in the nn.

Lilaclavenders · 02/04/2022 11:42

Saskia and Rafferty - both beautiful names that aren't overused and suit all ages.

Sebbie is awful imo.

ukborn · 02/04/2022 11:51

Sebby ? Never heard of that as a nickname for Sebastian, just as well as I think it's awful. Bash or Seb.
I like Eva, though would prefer Ava.
Rafferty is the best of those boys names.

chattycaterpillar · 02/04/2022 12:24

Eva and Freddie

yikesanotherbooboo · 02/04/2022 12:29

I like your girls names, we have two of them in the family ; young women now.Matilda and Eva are popular but still nice.
Can't stand Rafferty and I don't like Sebbie as a nick name so would go for Fred nn Freddie.

Tsuni · 02/04/2022 13:29

Matilda and Eva are boring.
I like Sebastian but not Sebby.
Rafferty/Rafael with NN Raffy is better.

Lilaclavenders · 02/04/2022 13:53

The problem with Sebastian is that, while it's a fine name as it is, it doesn't unfortunately have nice nicknames. Seb, Sebby, Basty are all not nice. Seb reminds me of sebaceous/oily.

Mumofgirls2017 · 02/04/2022 16:03

Matilda- just have good associations with the book, think it’s a strong name, and just like the sound and vibe I suppose!

Freddie- think it’s a down to earth, classic but somehow cool. Prefer short for Frederick though

itsgettingweird · 02/04/2022 16:05

Matilda or Saskia

Sebastian or Freddie.

My favourites are Matilda and Sebastian.

You could have Matilda Eve or Sebastian Fred which use more of the names you like in a varying way.

PatterPaws · 02/04/2022 17:12

Saskia and Sebby / Sebastian

WeasilyPleased · 02/04/2022 23:14

Saskia and Freddie. Saskia perkier and less used than the others and Freddie because Sebastian always makes me think of bastard and Raphael is fussy.
