I love Ruby and if I had a chance to have another dd that would be her name. I have never ever met a Ruby, not as an adult or a child and I’ve been around a long time 😂

I really like Ruby and had considered for my DD.
I think it is relatively popular but who cares, doesn't mean you'll actually meet another Ruby as there is such a bigger range of names being used these days.
For Ruby middle names ending in a could be nice such as Ella, Anna, Nora,
Or others like Jane, Mae, Jean
