Imogen or Jasmine?

I've always loved Jasmine - Jasmine Eliza is my fav

You need to also think about nicknames. Every Imogen I know is known as ‘Immi’

I knew a 90-something Imogen - nickname from childhood, Moggie! 😻

Imogen has more history but I dislike the sound.

Scarlett is unattractive "harlot" and "scar"

The Imogens I know are Mimi and Imo.

Not keen on Mae as it’s one of the filler names for girls currently along with Rose and Grace. It’s overused.

How about Jasmine Elise? Or Elizabeth.

Jasmine Mae - May is a filler middle name

I was leaning Imogen - to me it’s quite a sophisticated, grown up name which I like. I was worried that Jasmine is a bit dated, so really interested so many people like it! Now I’m totally confused lol.

Still have 10 weeks to go so plenty of time to decide!!

A pp said Imogen was really popular but I've only ever come across one in real life whereas I went to school with 4 Jasmines (I'm in my late 20s) so Jasmine seems more common to me.

I have to say I don't think any of your middle names flow that well with them but middle names aren't often used so that probably doesn't really matter

I really like Imogen.

Imogen, beautiful name. I also like Jasmine, but that is very popular now. Scarlett is ok, but least favourite out of the three.

If popularity is a factor @Honey2 then both names are falling rapidly 📉 📉📉📉in the charts so would be a PERFECT time to pick either Imogen or Jasmine as neither are trending upwards and about to explode. I prefer Imogen by a mile, much classier, but both are lovely.

Imogen for me. I'd go for a middle name with fewer syllables so Eliza would be out.

@PortalooSunset No we decided not to do family names for our kids (this DD will be no.4) middle names of the others have meaning like a friend we lost, a thai name as thats where partner and I met etc... this time we are going to narrow down to 3 names then let our existing children vote for their favourite! lol we dare not let them loose with the first name.

So really I just need three names that go ok with Imogen and or Jasmine. So the kids cant get it too wrong!!

@bloominglovelyorange popularity is a factor - I definitely dont want her to be one of 4 in the same class, however I'm equally not looking for the only one in the whole school type name. I've looked up and I think Imogen ranks about 50 and Jasmine 70 something and that's fine by me... thanks for the link. Great that it also does middle names!
