Girls name help - can’t agree on name

We’re due with our 2nd child in the next few weeks and haven’t really got any names picked out. Anyone else struggle to find names they both liked?

I love Iris and generally prefer short, strong feminine names
My husband also likes short names but more girlie: Daisy, Phoebe, Freya

The only name we both vaguely like is Ava but there are so many Ava’s around here I know I’d regret using such a popular name.

How did you manage to reach an agreement on names?
For our little boy we had one we both loved and I’m really struggling with the thought of using a name I don’t love. Any ideas?

I'd actually put Iris, Daisy, Phoebe and Freya in the same category - I think they're very similar in style - so I'm surprised you can't find more names you agree on! I like them all.

Maybe try a baby name app with your partner like kinder. I also don’t think you are miles apart from your partners taste so I’m sure you’ll find a name you both love. Good luck with it, there are some great suggestions already from the posters above, I love Rosa, Juno, Cleo and Eliza.

Thank you, lots of suggestions. I hope we’re not that far apart because we did lists and apps and had none matching at all.
I wouldn’t be happy using Daisy, Phoebe and Freya - they’re just not to my taste.
@Mumofgirls2017 good to know you managed to find new names after they were born that you both love, that gives me hope.

Iris is my favourite girls name and DH vetoed so I feel your pain! My DH also likes the slightly frillier ones too.
