I thought this would be quite fun and interesting to do.. what are some guilty pleasure names you love? I'll start ..

Girl- Alaska
Boy- Koa

I'd never use these names as there just abit too out there for me and quite frankly, I don't even know if they are names 😂

Indiana - Girl
Ignacio - Boy

Girl - Tuesday, Heaven, Tallulah

Boy - Costello, Donovan

I love Birdie. DP just laughed at me 🤣

Seems we have some guilty pleasures in common! I’ve always adored Lysander and Ptolemy. Horatio and Gideon are gorgeous also. I like Linus and Evander also.
My son has a very traditional name - along the lines of Benjamin or Edward. I often think I should’ve been braver and who bloody cares if anyone called me pretentious behind my back. Why do some names have to be pretentious anyway, it’s all nonsense.

Posy for a girl. Ballet Shoes was a favourite book of mine growing up. I just feel it's too girly/feminine. If she was this tiny flower of a girl it would be okay but if not it wouldn't suit

Mars for a boy. I live in the US so I think I could actually get away with it. Darling as a middle name for a girl.

Atalanta, Hero and Orestes. I’m Greek but even so it felt too much!

I have a fantasy family who’s names are Gordon, Gilbert, Gideon and Geoffrey. The girls will be Gillian, Germaine, Gabrielle and Giselle.

I have no idea why I’m obsessed with G names at the moment.
I actually have two boys with unusual biblical names neither of which starts with a G!

Alabama or Meadow for a girl and Neo for a boy!

@Wailywailywaily I love this fantasy but it’s a mix of hard and soft G sounds which doesn’t quite hit the same… trying to think of others!
