Araminta

for a baby girl? Yay or nay?

I love it- but depends on your social group. If you are around a lot of exclusive public school types probably grand. If you are in a council estate in a deprived area not so much.

I can't help but think Aramunter...🙈

Too fussy for me. But it’s probably about to go big once there are too many Arabellas and Aurelias.

I like it, and the nickname minty but where I’m from minty is slang for dirty so it’s a no from me

I don't like it, personally. But it's fine for somebody else's child. I can see it becoming more widely used because of the popularity of Aria and Arabella.
