Not ending in an “a” girl names

Aaaargh. How is this so difficult?! Grin

Middle name will end in an “a” so trying to avoid that in the first name too.

I prefer older style names -
Madeline, Emmeline, Esme, Persephone, Seraphine (there’s definitely a leaning towards “eeeen” sounding names! etc but DH whilst not hating them hasn’t found one he loves yet.

Surname is quite unusual so would prefer first hand be pronounceable / easy to understand.

Nothing too modern, or won’t pass the “could she be prime minister one day with that name” Grin test

I really like Madeline - shame you can’t use that. Could your husband come up with a list and you guys could cross reference?

ConfusedHmm

Even Prime Ministers’ names often follow the fashions of when they were born.

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 18/02/2022 04:15

We may be able to use Madeline - just need to persuade DH a bit more! Grin

But for now trying to find alternatives. Adelaide is pretty (and makes me reminisce about Heidi!)

I’m pretty sure you understood my tongue in cheek Vroom Wink

Don’t think there will ever be a prime minister in the next 40 years called Tinkerbell-Princess-Poppet

If you are concerned with her being prime minister then surely Margaret would be the best choice for you.

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 18/02/2022 08:30

Oooh Delphine and Jacqueline are lovely.

Eunice for the win though Grin
