Freddie or Rory

Hi all

Our second baby is due in June. We don't officially know if it's a boy or a girl but I think the sonographer slipped up at our 20 week scan (after we said we didn't want to know the sex) as she referred at the end to "his" spine and then quickly corrected herself to say "baby's" spine. A little annoying that the surprise has been ruined but it has at least given us a nudge about what names to focus on!

The front runners at the moment are Freddie and Rory. I'd be really interested in people's opinions of these names and which one you prefer.

I love Rory

Love both names, husband is Rory so bias about that lol. Freddie Mercury is a legend so that's a winner too.
The sound of the any middle names and surname may help you decide. Oh you could use one as first then the other as a middle name actually!

I like both, although I would put Frederick on the birth certificate.

I prefer Rory, but Ruairí is pretty high on my list so I am bias!

I'd also wouldn't think much about what the sonographer said. I refer to my unborn baby as he the whole time even though I don't have a clue either way, just don't like saying it
