Our daughter was born 4 days ago and we desperately need a name for her!! Please help. We have a son called Jude

I absolutely love your shortlist and any others you've mentioned. For what it's worth, I have a 6 year old Lucie and I am still in love with her name. So I vote for it! X

If these were names you loved before she was born then I wouldn't discount them all now. I found it so hard when I had my tiny baby to see the name we selected for him as his because it seemed to bug for him, i thought he would look like his name when he was born (we had 3 to decide between when we saw him) and he looked too small for all of them, so I think then we chose the one that sounded best with our surname and the middle name which was set for family reasons.
I guess I'm just saying don't dismiss names you loved for a girl before you saw her, because they grow into their name.
Perhaps pick a couple from that original list to try out for a few days each? Good luck!

I think it's common that a baby won't suit a name, and they'll grow into it. Pick one from your original list, and she'll become that name :)

(I'd go for Jasmine)

Don't go for Mylie, it's awful 😬, miley Cyprus is Destiny I believe? Her nickname was Smiley that became Miley.

Elsie & Daisy are my favourites.

I feel Emilia will constantly be assumed to be Amelia, which was very popular. But they are both lovely.

Jasmine and Jude, I don't know it's very JJ, but Jasmine is sweet though.

The others not as keen on. Delilah hmmm I do like a bit of Granny chic but not feeling this one, but it could grow on me, it's better than a lot of names.
