If Penny make it short for Penelope as that's a great name for a professional woman to have. Also I met a William surgeon the other day, he loves his name likes being called Will.

Comedycook · 21/01/2022 22:16

Samuel and Molly are my favourites

DoodleBelle · 21/01/2022 22:17

I like William, Joseph (with a nickname of Joey) and Samuel.

I like all your girls names except Kaia and I’m not overly fond of Piper but I don’t hate it. I would use full names Francesca and Penelope though to give her more options when she’s older.

DramaAlpaca · 21/01/2022 22:20

I like Jasper and Maeve a lot. William is fine too. Penny is nice as a diminutive of Penelope. The rest all get a big No from me.

NuffSaidSam · 21/01/2022 22:21

It's quite a mixed bag you've got there.

I like Jasper best from the boys list. William and Samuel are fine. Brodie is nice. I don't like Dion, Quinn or Joey.

I love Maeve. Molly and Daisy are too cutsey. I like Penelope but not Penny in it's own. Like Frankie but would put Frances or Francesca on the BC. Not keen on Piper or Kaia (sounds like a car).

MrsTimRiggins · 21/01/2022 22:26

Agree that you don’t have a set ‘type’ of name! Honestly the only names I like from your lists are William and Penelope/Penny. Jasper is okay. A lot of them sound a bit faddy to me, altho appreciate my taste in names can verge on ‘boring’ to some as I prefer classic names.

I’ve just re-read. I like Francesca/Frankie too.

Fivebeanchilli · 21/01/2022 22:26

Jasper - I love this
Brodie - not keen at all
William - nice. Safe but attractive. I love Will as a nn
Dion - don't like at all. Reminds me of the 80s and very feminine
Quinn - don't like either
Joey - I don't mind Joseph or Joe. Joey is too cutesie for me
Samuel - ok. A bit meh

William and Jasper are great. Not keen on the rest.

Molly - ok. Nice enough. I prefer Polly
Frankie - ok as a nn for Francesca
Piper - don't like at all
Kaia - really don't like this. A bit tacky
Maeve- ok
Daisy - I love this
Penny - it's ok. Getting very popular.

Daisy is great and Maeve would be my second choice

StopForAMinute · 21/01/2022 22:37

perimenofertility · 21/01/2022 22:38

Cwningen · 21/01/2022 22:48

Ellmau · 21/01/2022 22:57

Jasper - love it
Brodie - a bt surnamey for me but I've heard worse

Flutterflybutterby · 22/01/2022 01:55

Maeve and Jasper 😍

Mumofgirls2017 · 22/01/2022 07:42

Boys

Jasper- love
Brodie- not for me
William- safe but not for me
Dion- no, and met a girl with this name in 90’s. Reminds me of Celine Dion
Quinn- like a lot
Joey- Joseph is nice
Samuel- again safe just bad associations for me!

Girls

Molly- ok
Frankie- no
Piper- love
Kaia- like
Maeve- like
Daisy- love
Penny- like but short for Penelope

Overall like most your names esp girls.

Ceramide · 22/01/2022 09:16

Jasper - classic
Brodie - too surnamey
William - really like
Dion - too surnamey
Quinn - don't like
Joey - OK but only with Joseph as full name
Samuel - like, a 'take you anywhere' name

Molly - I don't particularly like --olly names for a girl. Polly, Molly, Dolly all sound a bit babyish to me. The exception would be Holly which is a lovely name
Frankie - love, perhaps as nickname for Frances
Piper - bagpipes and an occupation
Kaia - Not keen and people will mistake it for Gaia
Maeve - really like
Daisy - like
Penny - quite like

Luredbyapomegranate · 22/01/2022 10:10
