What other names might I like?

We both like Magnus & keep coming back to it, but we both absolutely loved the girl name we'd chosen (Astrid) but don't feel as strongly about any male names yet (& we now know that baby is a boy).

DH likes Torsten too; I like it but don't love it.

Magnus is magnificent name - go for it!

I have a Søren but it rarely gets pronounced correctly in the Uk.

I have a Magnus. His name has brought me real joy, and is so well received, particularly by men, I’ve noticed. But if you don’t really love it, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Others we liked were Rollo, Uther, Loxley, Tristan and Erik.

We have similar taste. This is my boys names list. One of these is my son’s name, will if we have another boy Magnus is my front runner (Id like Gus but don’t like August/Augustus) DH unconvinced though.
