Pam Burridge was an awesome Australian surfer who became world champion in 1990. She smashed through so much sexism on her way to the top and is an inspiration to women in many fields.

Cobey was the name of a surfer I knew in Sydney. When she was 15 she rescued a drowning fisherman and won a bravery award. Go Cobey!
