And any suggestions for middle names please.

Congrats - My 6 week old daughter is called Robyn, so I'm biased it's a lovely name 😊

Middle name ideas we had included May, Kate (both family connections) and Emily but went for something different in the end!

I do like it, but it just makes me think 'robbin' (a bank...) Laura, Tamsin, Heidi as middle name suggestions?

Thank you. I am fond of nature names but maybe not flowery names which are very popular with girls these days. I thought Robyn was quite unusual but not too out there.

I have an 11 year old Heidi, was the only Heidi in her large Primary School whilst she was there. Robyn was also on my list 😊

I've always liked Robyn. Modern yet timeless, a dash of Swinging ' 60s chic but never dated.
With such a strong and simple name you can afford to be a bit flamboyant with the middle name.

I prefer Robin. I've never understood replacing the I with a Y just because they're a girl. Maybe you have someone you could honour with a middle name?

Robyn and Heidi were both on my list. Lovely names!

I think I slightly prefer the Robin spelling. Lots of middle names would suit, do you have any family names that would work?

For me Robin is the male spelling. Robyn just looks a lot more feminine. Strangely I really don't like the name for a boy but think it's a lovely girls name.

Robyn is lovely! I would avoid two syllable middle names after a two syllable first but that’s just me!

I like it. Definitely Robyn, that IS the female spelling, plus it’s nicer anyway as otherwise just too much ‘the bird’

Only thing I’d short form, I’d dislike Rob on either girl or boy - but maybe they wouldn’t end up as that.
