I gave my August daughter the same name I would have given her if she’d been born in any other month.

DS1 and I are both August babies. We're called Charlotte and Dominic. Not sure that our birth has anything to do with them though.

That’s not what the OP is asking. She isn’t saying ‘if you are born in august, what is your name?’ She is asking for names that are linked to the month or the season.

That is what she asked. The title is literally "what would you name an August baby?" I named my August baby Dominic.

I have 2 August babies - I gave them the same names I would have given them had they been born at any other time. Do you want summer themed names?

I named my August baby 'Augusta', although I probably would've called her that had she been born in July. Which she almost was. She suits the name extraordinarily well.

I think the meaning was pretty clear.

I have a baby born a week before Christmas but I would expect ‘what would you call a Christmas baby’ to be seasonal suggestions.

That’s not to say Dominic isn’t a nice name but I don’t think the OP was looking to hear the name of everyone born in august!

I don't like august as it's that two muggy days followed by a thunderstorm time if year IF you're lucky!
(So maybe Storm!)

I've always thought August is a really nice name for a boy so I would have to use it if I had a boy (probably even if not born in August). I don't know for a girl, but Thea springs to mind, maybe short for Theadora.
