Baby boy due next week. Keep going over the same names and we can't pick, nothing sticks!
MN will be John (non-negotiable) and last name begins with S and ends in N sound.

Iver/Ivor John - not sure which spelling to use, pronunciation like 'Iver' but Ivor more traditional spelling?
Malachai John

Theodore 'Teddy' John

Daughter has an unusual but strong and traditional name, popularity is a concern for us. Think he will be baby no name!

I love the name Malachi but sadly cannot get dh onboard at all so this gets my vote. I like August too. I would avoid Theodore if you don't want popular.

Elijah was on our list but didn't use it as turned out to be DD! Still absolutely love the name though

Also like Ivor and Asa. Not so keen on Malachai, everyone I've ever met has been a little sod.

August and Theodore are nice although I think Theo/Theodore are both very popular.

Gabriel is ok but I'm not keen on the nn Gabe. Just don't like the sound of it.

Asa is my favourite although I prefer Asher. How about that?

Ivor is top of my list for a boy so has my vote, but Iver feels like an incorrect spelling.
You might also like Ivar, which is the traditional Scandinavian spelling.

I'd stay away from Theodore if popularity bothers you.

Ivor is my favourite of what you’ve got, but I’d wait and see what he looks like.
I’m preferring the traditional names like George and Andrew at the moment.

Gabriel John is a beautiful name. Can’t fault it. Theodore/Theo is fairly popular these days, but I really like it as well.
