Girls names that go with Cassie

So 1st time round I wanted something different that wasn't popular as well as beginning with C.

This time round I'm not fussed about popularity or anything else. My dh picked Cassie straight away from a list of names beginning with C and I loved it.

This time I've been looking for ages but the only two names that stick out to me right now are Sophie or Lily. I do like a few more but these two I feel go better with Cassie? Or am I being too much wanting them to sound similar? Also liked Amelia, Emilia (emmy), & Elodie. But dh doesn't like any of these he's just said he doesn't mind Sophie or Lily even though at first he wasn't keen but they've grown on him. Ultimately this time it's my decision though as he picked last time.

Any suggestions?

I love Cassie, and I agree with you that Sophie and Lily sound good with it. I love both, but would choose Sophie.

Crumblinginside · 01/11/2021 23:49

Cassie is lovely

Ruby could work well

Cassie and Ella
Cassie and Grace

Or
Ava
Julia
Ruth

Crumblinginside · 01/11/2021 23:50

Apologies- if it's only from those two Sophie

thisgardenlife · 01/11/2021 23:52

I think Cassie would go best with a name like Grace - something that doesn't echo the 'y' sound of Cassie.

Cassie Grace
Cassie May
Cassie Jane
Cassie Beatrice
Cassie Anne
Cassie Joy

Hottbutterscotch · 01/11/2021 23:53

Cassie and halle! Or Hallie

yasxcat · 01/11/2021 23:59

Thanks!

Oh I do love Ella but that's my grans name, same with Ruby but that was the name of friends dog that died. (Why do people have to use good people names for pets and ruin them?) Grace is lovely too!

@Hottbutterscotch

Cassie and halle! Or Hallie
I do like that name too but Dh doesn't. He's so bloody picky!

Lucy?

Ellmau · 02/11/2021 00:34

Lara

Lea1437 · 02/11/2021 00:45

Elise or Esther maybe?

CurlyhairedAssassin · 02/11/2021 00:51

I’d be wary about another name ended in “y”. Together it might bring to mind a couple of puppies. Blush

What about Beatrice (or Beatrix)?

Or a name ending in an “a” sound?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 02/11/2021 00:58

Cassie and
Bonnie
Polly
Misty
Tilly
Marnie
Marley
Sadie
Indie

Sophia is nice with Cassie

WhatonEarth1 · 02/11/2021 05:49

Cassie and Bella
Cassie and Phoebe
Cassie and Fern
Cassie and Thea
Cassie and Tessa

yasxcat · 02/11/2021 10:08

Thanks everyone. I've got quite a few of those names on my list. Some I can't do as I already know people with those names. Especially Sophia I love that name but have a cousin with it.

Also really like Sienna, Arabella or anything with Bella.

My thought was Tamsin or Harriet. (Tammy or Hattie). Both strong and feisty sounding like Cassie

Sophie or Lily arev both nice but very popular and seem a bit overused and gentle compared to Cassie?
Amelia, Emilia (emmy), & Elodie - Amelia has been done to the point of dullness, Emilia will be 'Emilia not Amelia', and Elodie is meh - just another Ellie.

Ajl46 · 02/11/2021 10:29

If you like names ending in a, about about Carla?

Namenamenames · 02/11/2021 10:35

Name changed as totally outing!

I have Cassie & Imogen Smile

yasxcat · 02/11/2021 10:56

I do like Carla and Clara but my 1st girls initials are CC so I'd probably have to do Karla so they had different initials. Definitely on the list though.

Tamsin I'd not even thought about I do like it though.

Ophelia? Similar classical vibe.

Is Sophia out of the question? If you weren’t raised as siblings and don’t hate each other? We have some doubling up in my extended family and it’s been fine.

RosyTea · 02/11/2021 12:51

Cassie is lovely. I quite like having another similar sound with it - Holly maybe

Crunchymum · 02/11/2021 20:48

@thisgardenlife

I think Cassie would go best with a name like Grace - something that doesn't echo the 'y' sound of Cassie.

Cassie Grace
Cassie May
Cassie Jane
Cassie Beatrice
Cassie Anne
Cassie Joy

I think OP is looking for a sibling name and not a middle name?
