Hi everyone, DH and I are expecting twin girls this January. We have a shortlist of names that we will definitely be using, but are unsure of which two would fit best, and I'm interested to hear your opinions.
Felicity
Julia
Astrid
Linnea
Clara
Nora
Margaret

Felicity and Clara are my favourite , then Julia.

Decided middle names shall be Diana and Eloise after family members

Felicity and Clara are the only two I like, but I really like them.

SickAndTiredAgain · 26/10/2021 17:45

Felicity - I really like this.

I don’t mind Julia or Clara, prefer Clara.

I don’t like Linnea, Astrid, Nora, or Margaret.

Out of interest, how do you pronounce Linnea? Google says it’s Swedish, is it like linear? Or li-NE-a

JudgementalCactus · 26/10/2021 17:45

Julia and Nora/Clara

StellaOlivetti · 26/10/2021 17:47

Clara and Felicity, definitely!,

INeedtobealone · 26/10/2021 17:51

Clara and Felicity would be my choices.

Clara Eloise
Felicity Diana

Heepers · 26/10/2021 17:53

I like all of them except Linnea and Felicity

lightupmyface · 26/10/2021 17:54

Also love Clara and Felicity!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 26/10/2021 17:57

Clara Diana and Astrid Eloise

RavenclawsRoar · 26/10/2021 18:00

I like Clara, Nora and Astrid.
I think Nora and Astrid go well together.

heatherrose34 · 26/10/2021 18:00

Hi, @SickAndTiredAgain

It's pronounced Li-nay-a: DH is Swedish so we wanted a few options that would celebrate that side of the family. Hence Astrid and Clara

I have twins - you need to imagine yourself yelling the names across a crowded play ground 😂

I 🥰 Julia though - Julia Diana

And I'd probably go for Nora but that's heart over head as two baby names ending in "a" is a bit of a mouthful

Flidina · 26/10/2021 18:01

Love Linnea and Astrid, and Felicity and Julia,

Hi, *@SickAndTiredAgain*

Oh I like that much more than either of the two pronunciations I was thinking!
OnceuponaRainbow18 · 26/10/2021 18:07

Personally would avoid rhyming names so not Clara and Nora / they sound too similar to me

Nanalisa60 · 26/10/2021 18:08

Lilly & Rose

twinmum86 · 26/10/2021 18:12

Clara and Felicity for me!

And it would need to be Felicity Diana and Clara Eloise - I just don't like first and middle name with the same sound ending. Personal preference though!

Congratulations on joining the multiples club!

twinmum86 · 26/10/2021 18:13

Clara and Astrid also works, I'm just not so keen on Astrid

OhGingleBells · 26/10/2021 18:14

Felicity Diana

Clara Eloise

Lovely names! Smile

AJ0840 · 26/10/2021 18:15

I love Astrid and Linnea together. Would never have put them on my list or thought id like them but I think they are super cute for twin girls ❤️

lots33 · 26/10/2021 18:18
