Ted or Teddy?

Can't decide..... should I call him Ted but then Teddy as a nickname whilst he's little or Teddy and then Ted is his nickname??

I would go for Edward or Theodore. Or even Edmund.

Ted and Teddy are traditionally nicknames for those names. You could use both as nicknames.

If you must choose between only Ted and Teddy then Ted by a country mile. It is more grown up sounding.
