It may be different tomorrow but this is as it stands.

Rosanna (nn Rosie)
Clara (is this getting too popular?)
Emmeline (nn Emmie)
Carrie
Catherine (would Carrie work as nn?)

I like them all. Which ones your favourite?

PurplePizzaCake · 21/10/2021 21:24

My faves are Emmeline and Clara. Both beautiful

FinallyMrsE · 21/10/2021 21:26

I have a 7 year old Rosie, it was number 70 something on the list in 2013, it’s now in the top10 so if too popular is an issue you may wish to avoid it.

I do love all your names on your list.

TonkinLenkicks · 21/10/2021 21:41

Emmeline. I wanted this for DD but DH said no. Still upsets me now Grin

GoodnightGrandma · 21/10/2021 21:43

I’d go straight for Emmie.

BeeandG · 21/10/2021 21:46

Love Rosie. And Emmie. Clara makes me think of the nutcracker but a beautiful name. Not sure I'd shorten Catherine to Carrie, may be Kate, Katie or even Kitty.

Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo · 21/10/2021 21:48

Love all! Helpful Grin

Soggychip · 21/10/2021 21:52

I love them all too except Carrie (immediately think of the horror film).

Emmeline is my favourite then Clara, Rosanna and Catherine. But there’s not much between them as they’re all lovely.

Rosanna (nn Rosie) - like this.
Clara - dated Victoriana style.
Emmeline - dated Victoriana. Emmie is twee.
Carrie - if short for Caroline
Catherine - yes. I suppose you could shorten to Carrie.

If you had Caroline down, that would be my strong favourite. Not common. Not cutesy.

MerryChristmasToYou · 22/10/2021 10:00

Rosanna (nn Rosie) - nice but Rosie is very popular
Clara (is this getting too popular?) - I don't like it
Emmeline (nn Emmie) - I don't like it but it is nicer than Clara
Carrie - I'd have it short for something
Catherine (would Carrie work as nn?) - Carrie would work, Cathy is more obvious. Catherine is the nicest on your list

All lovely names OP! My favourites are Rosanna nn Rosie and Emmeline.

alpinerain · 23/10/2021 05:05

I really like Clara & Rosanna! Not a fan of the others.
