Current favourites are:
Henry
Toby
Louis
Theodore (Teddy)
Rafferty
Max
Reuben
What order would you rate these please? Thanks

1.Louis - lovely.

1. Max - nice, simple, not too common.
2. Theodore, quite like this, choice of nicknames.

4.Reuben, yes nice (biblical?) quite unusual.

1. Henry, OK, very classic but with slightly pompous vibe. Prefer Harry which you could of course use day-to-day.

6.Toby - wussy,Toby jugs, suits a dog better IMO.

1. Rafferty, ridiculous, should be a surname only, has vague conman vibes (or am I thinking of Raffles?)

Any of the first four are nice.

I only really like Henry and Toby (in that order)

Rafferty and Reuben are my least favourites.

Henry and Lois …not keen on the other names.

Love Rafferty

Toby is my favourite (biased; one of my brothers is a Toby).

Then Theodore.

Max and Reuben next.

Henry is overused, Louis is weak (and potentially will have a variety or wrong spellings).

Rafferty is awful, sorry. More of a dog's name, imo.

Henry - a bit dull and there are sooooo many recently
Toby - cute
Louis - very nice
Theodore (Teddy) - done to death
Rafferty - a bit cool, a bit naff. I'm confused by this name
Max - nice. Simple. Sweet.
Reuben - lovely, biblical, beautiful sound

I think Louis and Reuben are the nicest

Rafferty is the best all the others are too dull and over popular IMO.

Henry - nice name but very popular
Toby - wet
Louis - Okay
Theodore (Teddy) - v popular
Rafferty - love this
Max - a bit boring
Reuben - not keen

@20viona yes I do agree but so many boy names seem to get shortened to Raffy these days. I now know far more baby Raffys than I know baby Toby's or Max's
I think it must be all the Ralph Rafferty Raphael Rafe 's are all getting known as Raffy. On their own all those names quite unusual but they seem to add up !
Reuben I find really overdone

Henry, Louis and Max are joint winners for me; all lovely.

I do worry about Max being a "dog's name" though.

I wouldn't use Reuben, not only because I think it sounds a bit wet, but because people write Rueben

Louis - effeminate
Theodore (Teddy) - utterly ridiculous, Teddy, lol. So contrived.
Rafferty - no, and Rafe is the worst nn ever
Max - probably the best, even this is dull
Reuben - no

I really like Max from your list. I do like Henry too but I know so many of them - it's very popular where I am. Ditto Toby - sweet but everywhere. I don't mind Rafferty. I don't like Louis, Theodore or Reuben.

1.Henry - nice. The most classic/timeless on your list, if fairly popular at the moment.

1. Max - fairly classic, cool and simple, I like it a lot. Could be the new Jack eventually.

3.Toby - much prefer Tobias (nn Toby) but nice enough. 4.Louis - not my fave but it's okay, don't love or hate. 5.Theodore (Teddy) - now very trendy so I'm not keen. Edward (nn Teddy) is a bit more timeless. 6.Reuben - nothing wrong with it, but I just don't like the sound much. 7.Rafferty -not really my taste (too surname/celeb trend for me).

Favourites are Henry and Louis.

I dislike Theodore and especially Rafferty, which is a surname.

Toby and Reuben are my favourites.

Rafferty and Max are my least favourites.

Theodore and Louis are hugely popular just now, so at school your boy might be Theo 5.

As you like Louis, have you considered Lewis?
